Manual CAD Mode

After entering some basic information, the user enters the weather, type of pavement, base point and base line of the accident site, together with the time that police arrived on the scene, the police officers names, departments and other relevant information.

Afterwards, the basic road types (lanes, road surface markings, etc.) can be selected in the drawing interface.

If the road type is not in the system, by selecting the edge line of the road, users can add lanes, modify the width of lanes and also change the type, shape and color of the road surface markings. Users can also change the shape of the road by selecting the whole road in the interface and bending it to any degree.

A library of graphic symbols is provided, including different vehicles, fallen objects, human body, skid marks, various traffic signs, markings, etc. For example, to add a car, a user can simply select the car symbol from the motor vehicle library and drag it in to the diagram.

The size of the symbol can be controlled by the green box on the lower right corner of the car, while the vehicle rotation can be controlled by the red sign at the front of the car.

When selecting the vehicle, the user can modify its state (upright, overturned) according to the accident site.

By clicking on the vehicle wheel icon, users can input the distance between the wheel and the base line and base point or assign it to skid marks.

The mapping of the accident scene is finished.
